Amelia Jane Dunning, age 74 of Harrison Township, died Saturday, January 28, 2017 at the Evangelical Home in Sterling Heights. She was born June 11, 1942 in Heidrick, Kentucky, daughter of the late Matt and the late Jean (nee: Hubbard) Hammons.

Amelia was the beloved mother of Patricia (George) Bennett, David Ledington, Joseph Dunning, and the late Theresa Dunning. Loving grandmother of Stephanie, Amanda (Nick) Bommarito, Jordan, the late Scott, and great-grandmother of Logan Barndollar. Dear sister of Don (Faye) Hammons, Vivian Barowski, Geraldine (Larry) Brewer, Margaret (Troy) Calebs, Dave (Jan) Hammons, and preceded in death by siblings; Aubrey, Ralph, Joyce Ann, S.J., Homer Ray, Florence, and Maude.

Visitation for Amelia will be held Thursday, February 2nd from 3-9 pm and Friday, February 3rd from 2-9 pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 ½ Mile Rd) in Warren. Her Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 am on Saturday at the funeral home.
