Andrew Joseph Cieslinski, "Andy," age 48, died Friday, March 22, 2019 at his home in Warren, Michigan. Andy was born in Detroit, Michigan on November 6, 1970, the fourth of five children. Dearest son of Rose "Audrey" and Walter Cieslinski. Loving brother of Holly (Mike) Wojcik, Donna (Joe) Cilia, Stephen (Jessica) Cieslinski, and Laura (Steven) Gowland. Proud Uncle of Anthony, Shelby, Rachel, Rebecca, Jacob, David, Sarah, Dylan and Aiden.

Andy attended Willow Woods and Fillmore Elementary Schools, Carter Junior High School, and graduated from Warren High School in 1990. While in high school, he worked at the McDonald's restaurant on 15 Mile Road and Van Dyke. After graduation, Andy worked for Meijer, Inc. at Hall and Hayes Roads and continued to work both jobs until 2017 when he was diagnosed with esophageal cancer. He gathered many wonderful friends along the way with his helpful, loyal and kind nature.

Andy was a man of many loves: chocolate, donuts and Big Macs being among his favorite foods. He enjoyed listening and dancing to music, going to concerts, messaging his numerous friends on Facebook, winning at various casinos, and watching old TV shows. But most of all, he enjoyed being around his family especially at the cottage in Canadian Lakes where he spent endless hours visiting friends and cleaning up the beach.

Visitation for Andy will be held Sunday, March 24, 2019 from 3-9 pm, with a 7 pm Scripture Service, at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 1/2 Mile Road) in Warren.

He will lie in state on Monday from 11:00 am until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:30 am at St. Anne Catholic Church, 32000 Mound Road in Warren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are welcomed to the Capuchin Ministries, 1820 Mt. Elliot Street, Detroit, Michigan 48207 and Reverence Hospice, Clinton Twp. Office, 37650 Garfield Rd., Clinton Twp. 48036

Please share memories of Andy in his guest book above.
