Edith Magdalene Bush, age 82, died Friday, March 3, 2017 at home surrounded by her loving family. Edith was born November 18, 1934 in Castlewood, Virginia to the late James Alfred Fields and the late Eliza Fields (nee Belcher).

Edith would spend her childhood years growing up and attending school in Castlewood. For many years she rode the bus with a young man named Fred Bush,... these rides to school would eventually blossom into a marriage that would endure almost 63 years. The two were joined in marriage on March 22, 1954 at a church here in Warren.

Mrs. Bush was a stay-at-home mother who nurtured her children's needs. Later in her life she would turn her nurturing spirit into the eight year care of her mother and step-father.

Mrs. Bush was a simple woman who could find joy in the simple things. She and Fred would often travel back home to Castlewood to spend time with their families. There were also the quiet times that Fred and Edith would spend at their cottage on Skid Way Lake.

Edith was very active for many years at her church, Maranatha Church of God in Warren. It was there that she could worship freely. Her church home was also a place where she and Fred would form many long lasting friendships.

Edith was the beloved wife of Fred Clifford Bush Sr., the loving mother of Fred Clifford (Sherry) Bush Jr., Daniel (Kathleen) Bush, Jeffrey (Jenny) Bush, and Theresa (James Beck) Knight . She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren: Christopher Bush, Amy Bush,Kevin (Torie) Bush, Jene Marie (Derek) Elwart, Daniel (Erika) Bush Jr., David Bush, Jessica Bush, Christopher Bush, Brandon (Sandi) Bush, Samantha (Michael) Abt, Kitlynne Bush, the late Brian Bush, and by 14 great-grandchildren. Edith also had a special place in her heart for animals. She is survived by her dog, Angel and was preceded in death by her dog, Princess.

Visitation for Edith will be held Monday, March 6th from 3 - 9 pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 1/2 Mile Road) in Warren.

Edith will lie in state on Tuesday, March 7th from 10:00 am until the time of her funeral service at 11:00 am at Maranatha Church of God, 13700 Stephens Rd., Warren 48089.
