Florence Edna Sherohman (nee: Starry), age 73 of St. Clair Shores, Michigan, died Saturday, February 2, 2019 at the Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital, Warren Campus in Warren, Michigan.

She was born November 7, 1945 in Madison Heights, Michigan, daughter of the late William Starry and the late Dorthea (nee: Babcock) Starry.

Growing up in Roseville, Michigan, Florence attended and was a proud graduate of Roseville High School. She would eventually marry and move close by to the city of St. Clair Shores where her little family got their start. Along with being a wife, Mom, and homemaker, Florence also worked outside of the home as a Pharmaceutical Technician for both CVS. After many years of dedicated employment, Florence gladly accepted her well-deserved retirement and began her new chapter in life as a Golden Warrior.

Now ensconced in the throes of retirement, one of her favorite activities was spending time with her precious grandsons, Brandon & Kyle. Doting on these two treasures came quite easy for Florence and never ceased to envelop her with a joy beyond expression,…but they knew. There was simply something special about their youthfulness that infused her with vim & vigor that made each visit more anticipated and memorable than the last.

Florence was also quite proud of her homestead and could often be found spending time working in the yard. Whether for the reasons of beautification or simply for upkeep sake, Florence took great pride in her well-maintained yard and how her efforts gloriously enhanced what everyone witnessed. She always felt as though her yard was a reflection of herself. Florence was also quite a fan of eating out and partaking of a meal prepared by professionals. Why go through all the hard work of prepping, cooking and cleaning when you could leave it to the pro's? It wasn't so much her motto,…but it certainly spoke her mind. Plus, sharing the experience with friends and loved ones just helped to make it that much more tasty & meaningful.

Holiday decorating was also a specialty of Florence's, and something that brought her immense joy. Though the holidays provided its own enthusiasm and verve, Florence managed to eke out her own unique and genuine sense of decorating skills that never ceased to wow & amaze her family and friends,…and added that extra "bling & zing" to it all.

A loving Mom grandmother and friend, Florence leaves a legacy of love that will be embraced by all who were blessed to know and be loved by her. She touched a multitude of hearts and souls in her journey through life,…and made a difference in them all. May she, now, rest in peace.

Florence was the loving mother of Samantha (David Bogan) Sieben. Devoted grandmother of Brandon and Kyle Sieben. Dear sister of Gayle Starry, Pam Ritter, Judy Chirikas, and the late Douglas Starry. She was also survived by many other family members and friends.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 1/2 Mile Road) in Warren.
