Harry Richard Brown, age 84 of Warren, Michigan, died Thursday, August 23, 2018. He was born November 14, 1933 in Detroit, Michigan, son of the late Harry W. Brown and the late Gretchen (nee: Rilea) Brown.

Harry was a passionate golfer, and also loved a good game of cribbage. He was a one-time member of Red Run Golf Club, the Mason's, and the Detroit Athletic Club. Former business owner and supplier to the Detroit automotive industry. A United States Naval veteran (1952-1956), and recipient of the National Defense Service Medal.

Harry was predeceased by his wife of 50 years, Marilyn Urbanchock. Dearest Dad of Karen Becovic, Nancy (Matthew) Dixie-Spencer, and the late James Brown. Loving grandfather (Gramps) to Jennifer Becovic, Dino (Jill) Becovic, Amy (Nick) Brown, Brandon Dixie, Holly Brown, and great-grandfather to Krista Hoffner, Abigail Becovic, Lily Brown, and Emma Becovic. Dear friend of Molly Krueger, Kim, Chris, and Bob.

Visitation for Harry will be held Sunday, August 26th from 11:30 am to 4:00 pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 ½ Mile Rd) in Warren. His Funeral Service will be conducted on Sunday, 2:00 pm at the funeral home, followed by Naval Military Honors in recognition of Harry's service to our country during the Korean War.

Memorial donations are welcomed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the Alzheimer's Association, or to the Gleaner's Food Bank.
