Jennie Helen Zulczyk "Jane", age 91, died Saturday, March 3, 2018 at McLaren Macomb Hospital in Mount Clemens, Michigan. She was born June 29, 1926, daughter of the late Boleslaw Zulczyk and the late Helen (Kornacki) Zulczyk.

Jane was raised in Detroit on the Hamtramck border where she attended school. Following her schooling, Jane worked as a Punch Press Operator for various automotive suppliers and later for Shneider Electric.

She was a previous member of Transfiguration Catholic Church, and later at St. Blase Catholic Community in Sterling Heights, Michigan. Following the untimely death of her mother, Jane became the caregiver to her father and remained living with him until his death. She also was the family babysitter to her nieces and nephews in their early years.

Throughout her life, Jane enjoyed gardening, bowling, and solving crossword puzzles during her free time. She also was the host of the annual Thanksgiving dinner held at her father's house. Her family and family gatherings were paramount in her life. Her greatest joy was to be surrounded by as many family members as possible.

Jane was the beloved aunt of Helene (Phillip) Crutchfield, Raymond Swiderski (Renee Wirostek), Ron (Deborah) Swiderski, Richard (Judy) Swiderski, Rosemarie (Ernie) Ross, Robert (Justyne) Swiderski, Stephen (Mary) Zulczyk, Celeste (Bill) Woebkenberg, Mark Zulczyk, and the late Edward Izbicki, Terese Ann Kiska, Christopher Zulczyk, Martin Zulczyk, Joseph Zulczyk, and David Zulczyk. She was the sister in-law of Constance Zulczyk. Mrs. Zulczyk was predeceased by her parents and siblings; Irene (Edward) Izbicki, Eleanor (Raymond) Swiderski, Bernard (Jean) Zulczyk, and William Zulczyk.

A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, March 10th at St. Blasé Catholic Community in Sterling Heights. The family will welcome guests from 9am until time of the Memorial Mass at 9:30am.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home in Warren.
