Jennifer Susan Popp "Jenni", age 47, died suddenly January 23, 2017 in Sterling Heights, Michigan. Jennifer was born July 12, 1969 in Detroit, Michigan, daughter of the late James and Mary Popp.

Jennifer was raised in Detroit where she attended Assumption Grotto Catholic Grade School and later graduating from Bishop Gallagher Catholic High School. Following graduation, Jenni went to work with several companies primarily working in customer service and sales. Jenni was last employed with U.S. Ecology Environmental Services as a customer service and sales representative.

When Jenni was not working, she cherished every moment she was afforded to dote on her favorite pet dogs. She was a true animal lover who also volunteered her time at the Michigan Humane Society. Jenni was also creative and spent quiet time at home painting or making jewelry. She loved family game night spent telling jokes and playing games with her nieces and nephews. Jenni had a great sense of humor and a genuine caring personality for others and animals.

Jennifer was the beloved daughter of the late James and Mary Popp. Dear sister of Mark (Sharon) Popp, Loretta (Dan) Crow, Sandra (Steve) Martin, John (Ellen) Popp, Steven (Cyndi) Popp, Matthew Popp, and Karen (Mike) Murphy. Jenni is also survived by sixteen nieces, nephews, and many dear family members and friends.

Visitation for Jenni will be held Thursday, January 26th from 3-9pm, with a 7:00 pm Rosary Service, at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 1/2 Mile) in Warren. Jenni will lie in state on Friday, 11:00 am at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 44429 Utica Rd, Utica, MI 48317 until the time of her Funeral Mass at 11:30am. Celebrating the Funeral Liturgy will be Reverend Father Roman Pasieczny.
