Lorraine M. Kozlowski, age 70, died Thursday, April 26, 2018 at her home in Sterling Heights, Michigan. Lorraine was born November 14, 1947 in Detroit, Michigan, daughter of the late Chester and the late Lillian (nee: Rakoczy) Kozlowski.

Lorraine was raised in Macomb County, primarily the Clinton Township area, and would attend and graduate from St. Mary's Catholic School in Mount Clemens. Lorraine began her professional career in banking where she worked for the National Bank of Detroit. She began at an entry level position and eventually worked her way up to the bank's Vice President of Marketing. Lorraine loved working for the bank and enjoyed the many friends she made throughout her employment, a career that spanned over 37 years of faithful and dedicated service until finally accepting her well deserved retirement.

Although Lorraine was an only child, she built relationships that would later become lifelong extended family relationships. She became an adopted addition to the Fontana and Sclafani families and was a devoted Godmother to Audrey and Karina.

When Lorraine was not working she was the devoted and loving caretaker to her mother who lived until the age of 100. She also loved to travel and take many trips to Las Vegas where she always seemed to beat the odds, and also beat the house. While not traveling, Lorraine had a passion for music,...especially the melodic sounds of Neil Diamond and the Bee Gees.

Lorraine will be forever remembered as a friend to all the people she had come to know, as well as a person with a generous and loving heart.

Lorraine was the beloved daughter of the late Chester and the late Lillian Kozlowski. She is also survived by her adopted family members and many friends.

Visitation for Lorraine will be held on Sunday, April 20th from 5-9 pm, with a 7 pm Funeral Service, at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 ½ Mile Road) in Warren.

Please share memories of Lorraine at her memory book above.
