Ted was raised in Detroit and graduated from Pershing High School. Following his education, Ted served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. Ted served for over three years during the war and attained the rank of Water Tender 2nd Class before receiving his honorable discharge.

Following his faithful and honorable service to his country, Ted returned home to Detroit and joined the post-war workforce. He also worked a second part-time job delivering potato chips for Better Made,...and following his retirement became a salesman for tools and saw blades.

Ted was a talented man and hard worker. In addition to his strong work ethics, Ted was also a talented musician who could play the piano, organ, accordion, and his favorite, the Kazoo. He cherished his family and the many family gatherings which would often lead into music playing and many laughs. He was profoundly proud of his Polish Heritage and traveled with his granddaughter back to Poland and the village where his parents were from.

When Ted was not working he enjoyed family gatherings, his membership at the American Polish Century Club, playing golf, and taking his annual deer hunting trip with his best friends to the Upper Penninsula. His family also remembers the many summer trips to his relative's Jewell Lake Resort in Barton, Michigan.

Ted will be remembered by his family as hardworking, loving husband and caretaker to his wife, and wonderful provider to his children and grandchildren. A man who was devoted to his faith, loved his Polish Heritage, and was a member of the Greatest Generation.
