Theresa Josephine Pratt, age 80, a resident of Warren Michigan for over 39 years, died Friday July 7, 2017, at the Windemere Park Senior Community Assisted Living in Warren, Michigan. Theresa was born January 21, 1937 in New York, New York, on the lower eastside of Manhattan, the daughter of the late Marie Pane and the late Giovanni Pasqualino.

Theresa was raised and educated in New York... it was while in high school that she would meet and marry her high school sweetheart Robert L. Pratt. The two married at a young age and started a family. The young couple would later move to Brentwood, Long Island with their four children.

While living on Long Island Theresa found her calling to care for others and became a nurse... she worked at Syosette Hospital in Hicksville. While raising her children and working at the hospital she continued her education in the nursing field. Additionally Theresa and her husband devoted time to their church, St. Anne's of Brentwood, NY.

After living many years on Long Island Theresa's husband Robert was transferred to Michigan and the family began a new chapter in their life. Theresa and Robert settled in Warren, Michigan in 1978 settling in a nice neighborhood with many nice neighbors. Theresa continued her nursing career at Bi-County Community Hospital for over 25 years as a nurse and another 10 years volunteering.

When Theresa was not working she was devoted to her family, her faith and church. She loved her many flowers and also looked forward to the monthly pinochle card parties in the neighborhood. However

Theresa was the beloved wife of the late Robert L. Pratt, and loving mother of Deborah Pratt, Linda (Vicente) Giordano, Robert (Margaret) Pratt and Kathleen (Kenneth) Koperski . She is also survived by her dear grandchildren; Joseph, Antoinette, Theresa, Michelle, Robert, Angela, Heidi, Geraldine, Crystal, Kristopher, and her cherished great-grandchildren Vinny, Brooke, Dominic, Angelina, Cadence, Anthony, Collin, Jenna, Alexander, Andriana, Jacob, and Isaac.

Visitation for Mrs. Pratt will be held Thursday from 3-9pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 1/2 Mile Road. A Scripture Service will be held Thursday 7 pm. Officiating the Scripture Service will be Reverend Fr. Roman Pasieczny.
